We are a group of people all of whom live in Buffalo County who have come together to try to preserve that which we hold dear.  We believe that frac sand mining and transloads are not in the best interest of the county.  We value that which has brought us or kept us here; a rural lifestyle, clean air, clean water, a good, safe place to raise our kids, and the scenic beauty of the river, bluffs and valleys.

Groups such as Milton Defenders, Montana Defenders or Waumandee Defenders refer specifically to folks living in those respective towns.  We would like to thank all the others who though not officially part of the group, have supported our efforts and are themselves working hard to defend Buffalo County.
